 About Me

imageI am a caring, warmhearted individual with a skilled, intuitive touch. I strive to create a safe, supportive, friendly and nonjudgmental environment for each individual I work with. Your comfort is of the highest priority and I encourage open communication to make sure every need is met with both courtesy and professionalism.

I graduated at the top of my class from the Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy of Westport in 2012, am an active member the the American Massage Therapy Association and am nationally certified by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork with a license to practice in Connecticut.

I have always been drawn to the healing power of touch from an early age and as life has progressed, I have learned to listen to my inner sense to guide my touch. That, coupled with the extensive knowledge acquired through my schooling, I am equipped to help guide my clients to a deeper sense of relaxation and a refreshed appreciation for the sacred vessel that is their own body.

I have also been working as a veterinary surgical technician for the past 13 years where I have been able to further hone my calming touch and soothing energy with nonverbal patients (cats, dogs, rabbits, etc.) and have often been able to see visible changes when the only line of communication was that of touch. It has also improved my ability to “read a body”, which better allows me to gauge if there is discomfort or if a change in my approach is needed. Many times I have had pet guardians attest in amazement at how “Fluffy” or “Duke” has never seemed so calm or sat so still at a vet's office. This is due to the fact that I treat every animal as if they were a imagemember of my family. It is in this same manner in which I treat every individual on my table: with respect, love and gratitude for allowing me to take part in helping them heal themselves.
